I have read some good things about the protective gear produced by Motoport, I know it's very expensive but in this case I think you get what you pay for. Perhaps some of you may have read this post on ADVrider, where the poster relates the story of his crash and how well the gear did it's job including some good Pics. Anyway if your interested here it is. Warning, I did not read all the pages of replies and sometimes the language used by posters of that forum can be a bit, shall we say colorful.

Here is a link to the Motoport Web Site and a link to a WebBikeWorld review that starts off slow but has some good stuff towards the end. It is a comparison to the Aerostich Roadcrafter one piece.

Also be aware that Motoport makes both Mesh Kevlar (as described in the WebBikeWorld articl)e, and Stretch Kevlar. I have read a report by one guy that his wife bought the mesh Kevlar suit, and he was so impressed he went to buy one, but chose the Stretch Kevlar instead. His was so much more comfortable, that when his wife checked it out, she made him buy her a Stretch Kevlar suit as well... . |
