Thank you gymnast.
Edit: That link is working fine. Amazing read. Haddon makes such good and uncommon sense. |

Thanks Aidenspa, I think it works now but in any case, thanks for your help. Here is something for your stocking which I hope is hung from the chimney with care.
"Introduction: Back to the Future-Revisiting Haddon..." http://epirev.oxfordjournals.org/cg...full/25/1/60
If you still have room in your stocking after that, Google "Haddon Epidemiological Crash Matrix" You might need a row of stockings for "all the good stuff" that you will find, virtually all of which has application to adaption for motorcycle crash and injury reduction and safety. |

Great "stuff" gymnast. Took me several quiet, uninterrupted readings to digest and comprehend it, but it is remarkable. I will revisit it from time to time.
Love this ancillary quote:
quote: Haddon most likely would have agreed with Kreigers assertion 30 years later that "theory, absent action, is an empty promise" (7, page 674), contending that theories should not only inspire the questions asked in research but also provide insight into how to translate research findings into practical strategies to improve health.
I am hoping that our theoretical work in this topic inspires in us a way to translate our findings into practical strategies to improve motorcycle safety. |
